Indulge in the coastal flavors of Down East Maine with this luxurious lobster dish, drizzled in a velvety cream sauce and topped with a crisp truffle breadcrumb crust. The combination of rich, buttery lobster and aromatic truffle creates a comforting yet refined dish that will warm your heart and delight your palate.
Step 1: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 2: Add the lobster meat to the skillet, stirring gently for about 2-3 minutes until just warmed through. Remove the lobster and set aside.
Step 3: Pour white wine into the skillet, scraping up any bits from the pan. Let it reduce by half, then add chicken stock and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 4: Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Return the lobster to the skillet to warm through.
Step 5: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the lobster mixture into a baking dish. Top with card breadcrumbs and drizzle with truffle oil.
Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy. Serve hot and enjoy!
